Its an average sunday evening. I went down to the cafeteria with some friends... Proceeded to buy a fishwich sandwich, put my wallet on my tray and sat down with my friends. I forgot the mayonnaise so I went back to put mayo on the fishwich, came back and finished the meal. I put my tray on the tray-returner and halfway on the elevator ride back up i realized i didnt have my wallet. That really surprised me because usually after i make my purchase i put it back in my back pocket.
Went back downstairs and when all was said and done, I dug through 2 Garbage bags full of crappy food. The smell was that of a dead moose rotting for 3 days. No wallet. Come back up and on a last ditch effort before having to call the police, cancel credit cards, etc. I asked my friend if he took it. He laughed because he forgot he did.
Overall im glad he had it because it would have been a pain to go through that process of cancelling everything and such. Guess i just learned a lesson though.
