The smallest burger I will make for myself tends to run at least 1.5 pounds. If I'm hungry, I make them bigger or cook more than one.

Oh yeah, BTW, one of the best burgers I EVAR had was the one my cousin treated me to at Camellia Grill in New Orleans...damn those Loyola and Tulane kids have it good!!
