Ex-autopsy assistant collected body parts, including 2 heads

DAVIS, Calif., July 20 ? A former autopsy assistant allegedly stockpiled 157 pounds of human remains, including two well-preserved heads, because he was curious and wanted to conduct his own research in anatomy, police said Saturday.

Maybe he was just taking work home.

Hey, that's my town (for school, at least)! Davis is a university town. Bet the guy was a student or grad student. I wonder if this has anything to do with the two sets of remains they found recently in different places. People were freaking out, thinking serial killer.
