<< Once the Solovievs arrived in the U.S., they learned their daughter's body could not be flown back to Kyrgyzstan unless it was cremated, which is forbidden in their Russian Orthodox Christian religion. >>
Cremation is not allowed, but marrying out of a mail-order bride catalog is an allowed practice in their religion? I think people who marry just to stay in America should be sent to prison if their marrage is found to be a fraud, then send them back to their native homeland, we have enough problems here, and all they do is bash America while they are here anyhow.
I feel sorry for the family and the girl who was killed, but come on, she married someone without even knowing him. That's just plain stupid if you ask me. She probably threatened to take everything the guy had, and he decided to take everything she had first, and all she had was her life. >>
Tryliving in a country where you don't have a future. I don't hink it's sad that they let them selves get married to come to America. I think it's sad that some people are such loserss that the only way they can get a g/f or wife is to pay for one from a "third world" country.
Most of these women never threaten for divorce. Why would they. If they get divorced they end up alone in a strange land and with very little ability to communicate with anybody. Unfortunatly, most of them endure being treated like animals.
Also for all the foreigners that think Americans are selfish and self absored reread:
<< It is typical of the benevolence they have received in America. Alevtina's eyes fill with tears as she recounts the people who have helped them ? from prosecutors and police to strangers who have offered them money ? and all the donations they've received ? a car, places to stay, even Anastasia's gravesite. >>
