Man Escapes Fire, Dies After Going Back for Phone

Well, there's probably not really any way to verify if it's true but "the two men decided to brave the flames and go back in to retrieve their phones to call 911" at least paints a different picture than "dies going back for phone". Not a very smrat thing to do in either case certainly.

There's a fire. All three people get out safely.

Then all three attempt to get back into the burning building.

That's pretty durpy to say the least.

Gotta plan this shit out BEFORE anything happens. Our boiler is sort of failing these days (getting it replaced Wed.) so I tell my wife the first thing you do is sleep with the cellphone and grab it should the smoke detector go off. Kids, coats, go to neighbors. There's also a fire button on the house alarm pad on the way out.

I don't want to be picky but wouldn't a better plan be to fix the boiler?

An acquaintance of mine narrowly escaped a house fire, until she went back in to get the cocaine. I assume her dealer boyfriend was proud of the effort. She had great boobs too.

Definitely grab the cellphone before the kids!

Kids are down the hall, the phone is right there on the nightstand as planned. Should we go back for the phone instead? Or are you saying an extra 0.5 seconds to grab the phone is too much time?

System was put in around 1989. Fan on top of the boiler seized one night recently, paid $119 for a service guy just to figure it out and get it going again. Makes a noise as it spins now. $1000 for a new fan. Better choice to pay $5500 for a new boiler, tank, circulator, & zone valves.

Yeah but the fire will not put itself out. Someone has to call the fire department.
