im going to squaw valley this weekend, im wondering if i should get a snowboard since its easier to take in my car. ive never snowboarded, i always though it was for the kiddies, but it does look fun going of ramps etc...
snowboarding but i've never tried skiing. looks like it could be fun too. no matter what you do i recommend getting lessons. don't listen to your friends that say they can teach you**.
Snowboarding, because it's much less painful when you fall and I'm getting too old for that shit.
Fixed. Plus, skiing makes my left knee swell up and I'm in the lodge within an hour, barely able to walk. I can snowboard all day.
Well, that may work for you, but in my experience having your skis come OFF when you fall really makes a difference in your injury level. Snowboards inevitably will catch an edge on the way down and SLAM you against the side of the mountain.
Skiing is harder on the knees, though.
