Man cuts off 4 body parts

The man was flown to Sydney for emergency microsurgery and was now in a stable condition, police said.

I don't think I would be thrilled as a taxpayer to subsidize this (no doubt incredibly costly) surgery - if the guy voluntarily cut off his body parts in a drug-induced stupor, through nobody's fault but his own, I can't see why society should pay to stitch them back on. Admittedly, he may have his own health insurance, but frankly I doubt it, as I imagine they have socialized medicine in Australia.

I think they should bronze it. That way whenever he thinks about doing drugs, he can look up on the mantle at his golden penis. and think Gosh Darnit, I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and Gosh darnit I wish I had a penis
