Gotta love those CompUSA pukes(not meant for all that work there, just those that have no decency, or common sense for that matter). I was exchanging a camera I had a slight issue with, and decided that when they asked if I wanted the TAP plan(2 year repair or
replacement plan), that I would get it. I decided this because I had already had a slight
"issue" with it, that could be construed as my fault had I needed to return it to the
company directly using the warrenty. Anyhow, I paid the $60, which I found to be
extremely high, but since I hadn't bought any of those types of plans before, I just figured
it was my cheap self being frugal. So I get home and was checking out more prices on
thier site, and decided to see what exactly my plan covered. I went to the page where my
camera was and pressed the link entitled "two-year walk in repair policy", or something
similar, and then I noted the price. $29.99 . They had charged me double thinking that
they would get away with it, since they make most of their money on commission from
those plans. Do any of you for one minute think that they made a mistake, or do you, like me, think they tried to pull one over on me?
[EDIT]I did end up going back to the store and getting my $30 back, for those that care.
