I use to drink a 4liter everyday when I was a kid though I was also overweight. I think after drinking so much of it everyday I got sick of it.

I drink a total of 12 to 18 diet cokes a day...for whatever claims people make on caffeine I can go cold turkey and not have issues.

I have also been up to 12-18 beers a day and I cut that out cold turkey too.

I have been doing soda since 1973 or so...beer since at least 20 years behind me now....my born on date is 1971.

Also that said, my 3rd dental appointment in my life still shows I have perfect teeth. CHEMICAL INTOXICATION / SATURATION FOR THE MOTHER FUCKING WIN WEAK BLOODS!

Ginger Ale was my sole soda. My parents simply never had Coca Cola in the house, and while there was nothing preventing me from having it on my own -- I remember ten cent coolers and machines -- I never really developed a taste.

I DO remember bicycling down to the local Drug Store, which had a soda fountain (diner like counter and 5-6 anchored but rotating red leather topped stools, for several Cherry Cokes because I was dimly aroused by the blond (milf?) manning that counter.

But like all doomed and star crossed relationships, that soon came to an end. :brokenheart:

I have a broken arm (this is my 7th broken arm) and my typing gets messed, sorry. I'm trying to fix many typos by edits. I'm tall, and at the gym when I stretched up my left hand got chopped up savagely in a powerful steel ceiling fan. Broke bones but amazingly not the skin, hurts like hell.

Are you high on pain killers?

I tried coke once (the drug), and it wasn't that great. I felt like I could punch through a wall, but I'm generally a laid-back person, so it just wasn't for me. Maybe some people like that artificial feeling of power.


I LOVE coca-cola, though. Best soda EVER. When I was a kid and I didn't know about the drug, I would tell people "I'm addicted to coke." Coming from a 5-year-old. Because it just tastes so good.

Yeah, if you only read the thread title ("Man coke is addictive"), you might say that it could be taken either way, but I came into this thread assuming he was talking about a drink with no reference to illicit drugs. I was right... except that he referenced the addictiveness to being LIKE one (like you might express anything addictive). To assume that he was talking about cocaine between the lines when he wasn't, you must have cocaine on the mind.

i'm absolutely serious. i go through 1.5 or so 2 liter bottles per day. i dont drink water, i dont drink milk, i drink some soy milk, occasionally some zero carb powerade, and that's basically it. i dont know if i'd say i'm addicted to soda, because it's not like i cant survive without it. but i do drink it both out of habit and for the taste. i really cant stand the taste of water.

when i am forced to go without soda for extended periods of time, i turn to drinking tea. i drink a gallon or more of that per day, so i'm brewing it a lot.
