Ok,i have my wallet and phone and a couple of keys and usually a note pad

what do you guys do when you has no pockets? I am thinking about getting a back pack dedicated to being my man bag.

Any ideas ?

I dont want to have to hand back my man card

1) 80's it up with a fanny pack
2) Go gangster style and tuck it into your socks/shoe
3) Buy pants with pockets you idiot
3) Duct tape it to your head

I usually have pockets : but I generally carry this bag around with me.

Classic Messenger Bag - Medium Size.

It was given to me as a gift after I mentioned to a friend I wanted one. Probably not the one I woulda picked in the colors they gave me but I've used this bag almsot everyday for 5 years and it's just starting to show a little wear.

I carry around notebooks, pens, misc things in it, zune+headphones, sunglassed, digital SLR in case. It works pretty well for me - Stuff I want to have on hand but don't necessarily need on my person.

Install a metal clasp onto your real man bag, you can hang all your items from there. You're obviously not using your man bag for anything useful!

😉

I got a motorcycle and a tank bag. It attaches to the motorcycle with magnetic flaps that are velcro'd when carrying it around by the handle. Now, I carry my tank bag EVERYWHERE, even when I'm not riding and even when I don't have my little netbook in it (I can't excuse it as a laptop bag).

Small backpacks are great. I don't see what all the fuss with messenger bags is all about...I think they work great. You can also use one of those bags with strings in them that you wear like backpacks too.

All a man needs is his keys, wallet, shank, and possibly phone. All of that can fit in whatever you are wearing. If you have no pockets then learn to keister things.

Two problems:

1) It's not a "man bag", it's a "man purse".

2) You're thinking of getting a back pack and you feel the need to dedicate it to being your man purse.

A backpack is a backpack, and little thought needs to be put into it. The fact that you see a backpack as your man purse means you should probably just get a man purse and be done with it.

What the fuck do you need to carry a note pad around for? Doesn't your phone have a memo pad program on it? Phone + keys + wallet = pockets. If you're not foresighted enough to wear clothes that have pockets, then you fail. Period. "Man purse" = fail.

command her to carry your stash in her purse.

Or, get a man bag. Who gives a fuck what others think.

I've been thinking the same thing with carrying around sunglasses, phone, mints, keys, and wallet. Aside from the mints (which is questionable), I need these items on a daily basis.

Sunglasses: Wear, or carry in pocket.
Phone: Hold on to, or put in pocket.
Mints: Pocket, or leave behind.
Keys: Pocket.
Wallet: Pocket.

"Man purse" = fail.

If you are wearing clothes that don't have a pocket, then you are a homosexual. Fail.

Everyone knows this.
