Man Attempts To Ride Rollercoaster For 12 Hours

What a wuss. They had a contest at the Santa Cruz Beach boradwalk a few years back where the last one still riding would win a car - peopel were riding the roller coaster for several days. They eventually had to call off the contest and give out two cars, since the last two guys wouldn't give up.
I totally could see that... I would get sick and starve for 4 days and pee in a bottle for a car.
But then again, Its more for the principle of out doing everyone else, to hell with dignity
Done here in minnesota. 1 week 4 days I think, 36 contestants started, the winner rode for 1,584 rides on the rollercoaster for a new Scion.

Because the stratosphere coaster sucks and is very short. There's nothing remotely scary about it other than the fact that you're 1500 ft or something in the air.
He is raising money by riding a roller coaster? Won't it cost a good amount of money just to run the roller coaster? So the amusemant is donating all that cost?

there were these people who were competing for money or a trip to hawaii or something from a San Diego radio station. They rode the roller coaster for MONTHS and even slept on it at night. I think they only got 3 10 minute breaks during the day for the bathroom. 6 or so lastest so long that the contest had to be terminated due to the coaster closing down for the autumn

I don't think I could handle 12 hours on one of the new rollercoasters.... I remember riding Batman the ride 4 or 5 years ago at Six Flags over Georgia.(before they worked the bugs out of it) I ended up getting a red-out the third consecutive time around.....(without getting off the ride) I doubt someone could handle 12 hours because I'm pretty solid when it comes to red outs, etc....
try to hit someone with the jars. Come to think of it screw jars, just give me some plastic bags.
