Norton is good again? Wonders never cease. I think it was almost 20 years ago when they had an incident where they forgot to update their security/certificates and thus I had slowdowns where it took a couple of minutes to open MS Word or 60 seconds to get a dialog box on right click of a file in windows.

That's really odd; have you contacted Malwarebyte's tech support about it?

Nah, it hasn't bothered me that much to spend time on their forums about it, other than the icon telling me it needs to check for updates.

I'll be trying this out at a couple of small businesses I service (both the server-based version & the cloud-based version) to see how it fares & how it compares to traditional A/V's like Kaspersky & Symantec.

Note that this is a different product from the consumer version. Basic viz chart from their twitter:

Malwarebytes constantly evolving and moving forward. Since their initial product was good, they just kept improving it until a point of expansion. Probably would go blind trust when it comes to them.
