Is it? For the real time protection? Seems like it catches some stuff that others don't on scan. Does anyone know how well the realtime protection works? Thanks

If you're going to buy, go Webroot Spy Sweeper. Default protection settings tend to be slightly paranoid, but you can configure it to relax a little while still providing good protection.

As for Malwarebytes, buying on the basis of specializing in detecting and cleaning a handful of risks that others aren't so good at is not very sound.

Webroot Spysweeper is crap compared to PCTools Spyware Doctor. Spyware doctor finds much more than Spysweeper does. I used to use Spysweeper as a cleaning tool but not anymore.

MalwareBytes is a great program, but doesn't find as much as Spyware Doctor does.

superantispyware is another good choice, free unless you want/need the real time protection.
