Malware detection

My ISP (wireless) has notified me that thier network monitor shows that I have a possible malware infection. As most of you probably know, they check the incoming vs. outgoing packets from each subscriber?s radio modem. Evidently , the usual pattern is for much more traffic to be arriving at a subscriber?s location than originating from it. If they see the reverse, that is many, many times more packets being sent from a location than being received, it?s a good indication that there is some kind of malicious, stealth software running at the location. Another indication that there may be trouble is that the radio modem is active at all times. I run AVG, SpyBot S&D and Spyware detector but I guess something slipped through. Today I ran Malwarebytes which found 12 intrusions. Question: In addition to what I have done, what is the most foolproof way fo determining if I have gotten the Malware, (assuming that my ISP is corect?
