Now i'm sure my friend didn't give me all the details to what he had read, but that's basically what he said. Supposedly that's the reason why girls can knit and watch tv, whereas we cannot. But, on the flipside, we are better at concentrating or solving problems.

He said he read it somewhere, but i don't know, i haven't heard of this before. I'd say it's a far fetch that guys only use one side, cus well, i'm typing with both hands :p Maybe this only ties to something else that's not motor skills?

it makes sense... no wonder women are so clusterfvcked. They got two sides of their brains working against each other, where men got one side that b!tchslaps the other side.

(kidding, I call shens as well)

I think with both sides of my "Brain" ... Lefty and Righty. But the one in the middle's the Doer, because when there's a woman around - he'll do 'er ;)

Sounds like something all the girls would spout off in kindergarten... the class once got told that people only use 10% of their brains.

What a male kindergarten student thinks: People only use 10% of their brains. Oh man, Joey just took his hand off of that ball, it's MINE!
What a female kindergarten student thinks: Boys only use 10% of their brains. Females are superior in every way shape and form. Therefore, we use 100% of our brains. Time to harass the boys about this.

The females then have a short meeting, and begin to harass the boys.

It's absolutely true but it's not what you think. Females use both sides of their brains for processing the same things that males can do with one side. It doesn't mean females are smarter or vice versa, it's just the way our brains developed when our sex was being determined (all humans start out as females).

Take a psychology class.

How do you think it is that your mother could deal with you and your siblings fighting while not forgetting she had a dinner that needed watching in the oven, while opening the mail and answering the phone? Our brains are set up for more stimultanous multitasking.I'm not flakey I'm just responsing to being bombarded with stimuli from all different directions:)

No, they just utilize dual-core technology.

The first core is the brain, where's the second one?

I believe the correct analogy is an OC'd 2.8C vs dual Celeron 500s ;)

I know a guy who can crochet and watch TV at the same time. That's complete BS, although typically females tend to be more creative/emotional so their right brain may be dominant in a higher percentage of them.

The female brain is an elusive vapor seldom capable of being truly measured by objective means.
