Now i'm sure my friend didn't give me all the details to what he had read, but that's basically what he said. Supposedly that's the reason why girls can knit and watch tv, whereas we cannot. But, on the flipside, we are better at concentrating or solving problems.

He said he read it somewhere, but i don't know, i haven't heard of this before. I'd say it's a far fetch that guys only use one side, cus well, i'm typing with both hands Maybe this only ties to something else that's not motor skills?

It's absolutely true but it's not what you think. Females use both sides of their brains for processing the same things that males can do with one side. It doesn't mean females are smarter or vice versa, it's just the way our brains developed when our sex was being determined (all humans start out as females).
