Underarmour Heat Gear boxer briefs, cool, comfortable, and the heat and sweat won't make them stretch out throughout the day. I work outside in the heat all day and love them. A little pricey, $20ish a pair, but they will last you a long time.

silk or some type of wonderwick material. I've never worn such for underwear, but I imagine it could be quite good for hot weather.

Shave your pubes & used ball powder. Much cleaner & cooler.

I've been shaving my pubes for over a decade, but I keep telling my buddy to do it simply for the temperature issue down here. People would not believe how much cooler it is without pubic hair.

I shave my ball fro too, it definitely keeps them feeling fresh and cool. And depending on how much of a fro you got there, it could even add an optical inch 😀

I do the first but what about the second? What is a good powder? I work out daily and I've heard of doing that but have never tried.

Suggestions?

This.

What are you guys using for working out in the gym? Neither running shorts nor biking shorts need underwear as they have it built in but I'm always wondering if there is a better option for normal working out when I (and the cotton boxer briefs) get very sweaty.

This is what I wear, year round

Good thread....I live in Guam and experience "summer nuts" all year round.

I'll be trying some of the recommendations.

I couldn't imagine having my chestnuts roasting on an open fire all year. It's hot enough most of the year here that I can't stand it. I'm looking to move somewhere much cooler.

I use whatever the spandexish type stuff they sell at the military clothing store. It's awesome immune to chaffing and it wicks sweat away. I imagine it's the same kind of stuff that underarmor type underwear is.

I like Under Armour Compression Shorts. I sweat quite a bit and it's helped me out a bit during workouts. They can take some getting used to.
