But the problems with this study are:
1.) Okay, gay men have brains that respond differently to pheromones than straight men, in fact, "more like women's brains." But the sample size is TWELVE, hardly representative of the gay population of the entire world. So twelve people had similar responses. What does that tell us? Nothing. We'd need to see a FAR more comprehensive study to mean anything.
2.) We can measure brain activity, but that tells us very little more than there is electrical activity in that region of the brain. That's it, folks. ELECTRICAL ACTIVITY. This doesn't tell us very much more than that a certain area of the brain is active. We can't say what that means, if it means anything at all. So essentially, this study is saying that twelve people had brain activity in a certain part of the brain which was *similar* (but remember, they can't say identical because we have no idea what the hell "brain activity" is) to women's brain activity and they are similar by the fact that they are homosexual.
