100 girls was a good movie! That was one of the first ones me and the gf rented. Definitely a good movie when you are only a month or two into a relationship

I can honestly and gratefully say none. With all the man-cards being cut up in this thread you guys could throw a tickertape parade... while wearing your lingerie :Q

Amelie !!! Considered chick flick. Not a typical boring love story movie. Makes you feel great and optimistic inside.

I consider myself a sappy guy, but I disliked the Notebook greatly. Don't know why. I think I just didn't like the girls acting. And the fact she went off and got engaged (had that happen to me) so, yeah, maybe I was bitter when watching it 😛

Say Anything - Great 80s flick. Unfortunately not many people have seen it. Every time I hear Peter Gabriel it reminds me of that movie. (The acting in this one sucked, too.)

And unlike most of your recommendations, both of these movies (Amelie and Say Anything) can and will get you laid. They're my secret weapons. Hell, I can't believe I'm even sharing it with you--its like I just gave you the secret salsa recipe. Be thankful--very very thankful.

Edit: Great Expectations -- I like a b**ch of a woman now and then.

You remind me of the next-door neighbor, ex-soldier in American Beauty

As good as it gets
something's gotta give
pretty woman
notting hill
you've got mail
forget paris
serendipity
sweet home alabama (yeah im not sure why i like it either)
legally blonde
Moulin Rouge (loved this movie, one of the few musicals i like)

I like chick flicks as long as they dont choke under their own pretentiousness

ROFL !!!!

I think people don't have a clue what a "chick flick" really is based on a lot of the replies.

That being said...

I liked A Walk to Remember 😱.

Chick Flick = Any movie in which a character utters those three words. There is, however, an exception: If the protagonist of the movie is male, carrying a weapon, and about to do battle--then its status is exempted.

Real men don't watch chick flicks, except when they know they'll be rewarded afterward for doing so.
Real men don't make confessions about liking chick flicks.

All of you, turn in your man cards, NOW.

Oh, and Princess Bride isn't a chick flick. It's one of my top 10 movies of all time.
