Making your optical mouse glide faster!-------->

If u have an optical mouse and no special mousepad or whatever, take 4 pieces of scotch tape and put them over the 4 pads. Now put your mouse back on you desk and feel how smmooooothhh is now!! . It just GLIDES!!!!!! i just did this to my MS optical and it's so cool. who needs to spend like $20 on an everglide mousepad .

that is a good idea but there is nothing smmmmooootther then the surface 1030 i even put a some armorall on the pad it works really good.

Scotch tape wears and catches after a while you have to keep replacing it... it is a pain in the azz. I just use a really smooth free home grocer mouse pad

Take OFF the pads and stuff polytetrafluoroethylene balls in the screwholes. The balls need to be slightly larger than the holes so they don't go all the way down.
