The tuna water is good to drink.

Drained tuna+soy sauce+sesame oil is also good.

tuna + mayo + deli mustard + dill relish on toasted wheat with lettuce and tomato. maybe throw in some hard boiled egg and some capers if you're feeling a little adventurous.

Heh, guess what?

I just made a tuna sandwich. A can of tuna in water, Hellman's mayo, salt, pepper and paprika on bread. I tried it on crackers but its not that good.

Pretty easy. I may have found myself a new snack or meal.

drain the tuna and mix it in a bowl with mayo
put butter on 1 side of (2) pieces of bread
put tuna on the unbuttered side of one of the slices of bread
put a slice of cheese on top of the tuna and close the sandwich with both buttered sides facing outwards
put the sandwich in a pan at med-hi
flip over until both sides are brown and enjoy a simply made tuna melt!

For the love of god please do not use Miracle Whip.

With that out of the way, I am in the mayo, celery, green onion, s&p camp. I also throw in a few dashes of worcestershire for a little extra zing.

Winner.

The essence of the tuna sandwich is the simplicity. You need the mayo, that goes without saying. Toasting can be done while you prep the tuna, so not a huge time sink there. The celery and chips are just the finishing touches. Somethings...I even put the chips in the sandwich... :Q

Why would you buy it in oil? For the totally unecessary and disgusting fat?

What's wrong with Miracle Whip anyway? It tastes great. Mayonaise is not exactly sex in a jar.

Most Americans are obsessed with greasing up their lives. Just let them be, if they have a heart attack at 50 and die they won't be using social security, which is nice for the rest of us.

I agree on the water tuna part but miracle whip tastes like someone tried to fix up bad mayo by mixing in the flavor of gym socks.

Tuna and crackers are the best ever. Or try them with potato chips or frito scoops. Gotta put a fairly good amount of mayo on it, whatever you like.

I add mayo and a bit of mustard/salt/pepper for extra flavor. I also like to add chopped onions and celery.

I prefer regular mayo (dear God not Miracle Whip! :Q ) plus a deli mustard (the stone ground kind with a lot of horseradish) with a slice of cheddar on sourdough.

Tuna is very good for you. Lots of healthy protein plus Omega-3 fats.

If you have cat(s), don't forget that they love the drained tuna water.

I usually eat it right out of the can. Sometimes I'll eat a dill pickle along with it.
