Is this a decent monitor for the price? I'm on a tight budget...

Thanks

IMHO, I would avoid any refurbished monitor. Too many things can go wrong with them and you have no idea what the history is. You'll be much better off spending a few extra bucks on a new monitor.

I performed a quick search at Bestbuy.com and found this one, brand new for $199 American or $239 Canadian. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ol...01011&type=product

At newegg.com I found this one for $179 American or $215 Canadian. That's only about $25 more than you'd be spending on the used one. IMO, it's worth it. http://www.newegg.com/app/View...=24-002-248&depa=0
If you can find an Internet retailer who ships to Canada (not sure if Newegg does) then I'd go that route.

I had one of those and it was great for about 2 months. It kept getting blurrier and blurrier. I adjusted the focus but it would not hold. I finally sold it on ebay.
