Mmmmm.....maybe. It'd have to be a pretty "big" white wine to work with something as heavy as a steak. I'll usually opt for a heavy red (Cab, Zin, or Amarone) with steak since they overpower most foods and you don't get to drink them that often (since I don't eat steak all that often).Originally posted by: Harvey

A couple of nice alternative would be fresh white corn on the cob or ratatouile, if you're into that.

I usually like to eat broccoli with steak. Potatos are good too, but I don't want to wat all those carbs.
