Making sense of event viewer

My PC just rebooted on its own, which is pretty rare. I check out the event viewer. The most recent error was a from the source "dcom." According to MS its connected to the service controller, which also had an error recentley. I have quite a few dcom and service controller errors loged in there. Anything I can do about it? Prevent it, fix it, get a better understanding of it? TIA
