I noticed that morrowind would stutter a bit on my system. I have an XP 1800+ on an nForce with a GeForce 4 Ti 4400. But I only have 256 megs of RAM. Soon I'll have a KT333 with 512mb, I'm hoping that the boost in RAM will be enough to fix the slow parts, as I have heard that the game runs fine on slower machines with more RAM.

Cast Fortify Speed and concentrate on improving its Athletic skills. :)

Seriously, turn the settings all the way down, get the No-CD and use it, and stick to first-person view.

To put the no CD crack you have to do a full install of the game so you wont miss any of the game with the no cd patch installed.

Keep in mind that even on a pretty high end system that is properly configured, the game doesnt fly. I normally maintain from 40-75 fps on my rig, which is basically about as fast as the game runs from what I've heard.
