Making DVD's in Roxio 6 Platinum

I am trying to take DVD's that I have used DVD Shrink 3.2 to create images and make DVD -R disks that can be seen by my home DVD players. I used creator classic and copied the files to the disk that way but evidently the disk must have the right format to be reconized by the DVD players just like with music CD's. I did not see a make DVD option in Roxio.
