Making boot disk to go to DOS under Win2k?

Hmm, apparently the Format Disk option in Win2k doesn't have an option to copy system files to a disk, so would anyone know of a program that'll make one? The SYS command doesn't seem to function either.

W2k format gives the floppy an NT disk ID, so when you boot with it control will be turned over to ntldr, not to io.sys. That's why it won't boot DOS, which uses io.sys. With a w2k-formatted floppy, if you copy the w2k boot files to it, it will bring up the w2k boot menu, which will work the same as the boot menu that comes up with your HD boot (except, if you've added the Recovery Console as a boot menu option, it can't boot into the Recovery Console).

You might also want to look at making an ERD (Emergency Repair Disk). It backs up your registry so you can restore to a good configuration if you have problems. Get into Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Backup. Third option down, ERD. This is a really cool backup program to come with an MS OS.
