Is there another name for SMA connectors? I would have assumed radioshack would have them, but nothing on the radioshack website is close to 'SMA'. is there a more technical name or perhaps radioshack just doesnt carry them?

Unless something's changed recently Radio Shack doesn't carry any kind of coaxial connectors, SMA TNC or N.

Good luck. We have a place called ConnectorWorld here in Seattle that had them, but it was a big place with lots and lots of connectors.

I found an adapter that is female RP-SMA to N female on a website for 5.99$ but the website has a $100 minimum. I have the part number, but no other place i can find carries that part number or a similar item

BTW if you are usinfg linksys you need reverse Polarity SMA connectors

well i'm not using linksys, but yes, i do need RP-SMA connectors. Do you know what the difference is or where to get them?

you will have to get lowloss cable and cripers also not a cheap propisition or just call Hyperlinktech and ask for Sergio he will explain custom cableing and will make what ever you want for a fee.

This is the thing that would be perfect for my situation. I have low loss cabling and N connectors so this adapter is ideal.

However min order is 10 plugs.

Call them may be they will be nice to you.

Take it from some one who deals with Antennae for 40 years. It does not worth it. You will save $10-20 and end up with unreliable connection.
