Making a site.. how does this look?

It's only a picture right now since I haven't sliced it up and whatnot. The links are those icons, the long rectangle will hold links that'll go into the large rectangle. 🙂

Oh, and the links will be : Home, Myself, Women, Cars, Music, Links
 
Hmm, due to some feedback from friends.. I'm looking for dingbats to replace the women, cars, and myself (they say it looks like files) icons (made them myself too..). Anyone know of any?
 
Looks good, but the main problem I see is that if you run it in a browser window that's not full screen, it makes it hard to see. You might want to consider running something to resize the page in the window or something? But when it's full screen, it looks nice.

Scarpozzi, thanks for the headsup. I thought that since the image was less than 600x600, it'd show up quite well on most resolutions except for maybe 800x600.

GideonX, they mean.. Home, Myself, Women, Cars, Music, and Links.

I hope to have somekind of thing that shows that they are as they are hovered over, but I've yet to find a good script yet. A friend of mine, who does professional sites, told me icons look better, so I plan to go that route. 🙂

Nice design. Good job on keeping it simple, got the good color scheme.. something I can't say about many sites today. I go for weeks on end before I see a decent site.

Blah.. my isp sucks, they can't even get all the images to load all the time.. Hmm, time to try and find a host..
