Making a hard drive holding system?

So, I decided about eh, a year ago.. Maybe it was less, that I would just rip out the floppy drive and hard drive rack inside my Cooler Master 539(NOT SURE... It has no mesh and SHIT for airflow.. MY LORD you could not get air in there if you wanted). So.. I did that and then I probably threw those two things away. I don't know WHAT I was thinking but uh... So now I kinda regret it and need some kind of hard drive holding system. Any suggestions on what to do? It's kinda LOW on space in there because I have two 4850s. I don't really know how to securely put a hard drive in there without having it slide around everywhere during transportation. I was thinking of maybe just hot-gluing it to the bottom of the case but like.. That could be troublesome. (or am I wrong?) Anyway, any suggestions?

Glue some Velcro strips onto the drive and the opposite strips onto the case.

Your best bet would be to get a new case at this point. Why would you throw away parts to a computer case? I really don't understand why people are so eager to throw things away...

What does your front panel look like? I can probably identify the case from that.

It's the Cooler Master 534 I believe. I looked on newegg, it is the old edition.. Not the PLUS edition or whatever I have been reading about from newegg reviewers.

Anyway, I am interested a lot in a 5 1/4 bay to 3.5 converter. That'd be VERY NICE. Although, for 21$ I am kinda disinterested. -_- Maybe there is some for cheap? I mean really, for 21$ I rather shell out 100$ more and get a new case.

Sorry, but that is a great idea and I was hoping there was such things. Just didn't know if there was. I'll browse around and see if I can find something but I am doubtful.

I saw this hard drive mounting kit for 5.25" bays. Newegg was selling for like 17$ with shipping... all these others place sell it for like 3$! (Should be even cheaper since it's just two plates... -_-)

Anyway, anyone know where I can get these from a reputable source?

Please do not buy anything from IT247. I know its off topic, but I saw it on the advertisement bit of Google in your link.

This shop is bloody useless, they have generally had bad feedback (and I will testify to their poor service) and it will take them 1.5weeks to deliver (if they do so at all).

Avoid at all costs.

If you get anything other than the one I showed you (such as the ones that actually need screws to hold in, you'll be pretty bummed because it WON'T stay in Cooler Master's Centurion 534 cases because well...we don't get proper screw holes.

Suspension? I don't think that'd work too well for like... moving around a case... What if the hard drive just SLIPS OUT of that suspension? I don't think that'd go over well. (Especially for the other components in the case)

Use rubber from a tire tube cut into strips 1/2" wide, punch holes with a leather punch and screw things together, use 6-32 machine screws w/ nuts and washers, bolt to the HD and case, nothing to slip...

You could probably fit the suspension in there. I haven't tried that method because my case doesn't make enough noise to resort to such extremes

No, unless you remove the CM mounting mechanisms completely.
