Hi, fellow members. Can you help me to monitor which users in our organization makes changes to files in our Windows system? Can we just check it by ourselves. Do we need the assistance of a service provider?

You basically want a auditing policy, and yes, that is possible, but need to know which OS exactly are we talking about?

Another approach is to install software that restricts changes to designated individuals. We used it in our classrooms to prevent students from making changes. This describes it:

Thanks everyone for all the inputs. Restricting the accessibility might really be the real issue here. But how about active directory linux? Will it be a fit?
