I caught an episode of CSI: Miami the other day, and thought it HAD to be some kinda parody or spoof or something. I had never seen it before. I couldn't believe how bad it was... So. Bad...

Ugh. How do people watch that? I wanted.. to strangle him.. for talking.. like this..

As an aside, I thought the Burn Notice that had Bruce Campbell spoof CSI Miami was awesome.

The corny one-liners were rampant in almost all 90's tv shows. I wonder if caruso did that shit in NYPD:blue. Just watch any Hercules or Xena episodes and you'll just cringe everytime.

Probably. He plays the exact same fucking character on CSI. I'm not even sure why they bothered to rename him. Should have just made up some horseshit about a transfer from NYPD and it would have made more sense.

The site is not working for me. After I click on the sunglasses, I get the YEAH theme song opener, then two rectangles (with no content, just an outline), scroll across the screen then the page goes back to the sunglasses. I tried in Firefox, IE, and Chrome. Also with AdBlock disabled.

Even in movies, re: Pierce Brosnan. Oh god there were SO many corny one-liners in his 007 roles.

Um, that's not a Pierce Brosnan thing. Pretty much all 007 films have corny one liners.
Take the George Lazenby film: Dude gets sucked into a snow blower type thing and gets sprayed out the other end:
"He had lots of guts"

This is hilarious. I've been making fun of this guy for years now, especially the poses they have him do that look very unnatural, hands on his hips, chest puffed out, looking away, often taking off or putting on his sun glasses.

One of the things I do around here is parody Horatio by phrasing responses or statements in the form of a question...

"Well you and I both know different, don't we?"

"You know what? That's what I'd like to know."

"Is he now? We'll see about that, won't we?"

If they could make a show just making fun of his one liners. When I have a bad day, this instant csi cheers me up.

YES, the YEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH is what is supposed to happen. That's the whole point. Make your own cheese.

As someone who has tried to ignore all these cop/crime series, I had no idea what the original inspiration for these parodies was. Now, having seen David Caruso clips, the parodies are so much better.
