make wireless into wired

are there any cheap wireless routers that would allow me to make a connection off another wireless router and use it like a switch, without having to buy a seperate switch and plugging in an ethernet bridge

You need to look for a Wireless Router that can be configured as a Client.

Cheap?

Some of the Belkin 802.11g models can do it, that is as cheap as it gets.

No, it would Not work as WDS.

Most of the Buffalo Routers 802.11g, some of Belkin modeland a Hacked Linksys WRT54g cab do WDS.

Others would Not.
