Make Tbird 1100 runs with A7v133

Hi all,

Does any body know how to make TBird 1100 CPU, 100MHz runs at 133MHz on A7V133? I don't want to make it run faster than 1,1G, I just want it to run at 133*8.5=1130.5 MHz, or even 133*8=1064MHz.
Can somebody tell me please, I never done anything like this before.

Thank a lot

Is the CPU unlocked?

If it isn't you'll have to unlock by connecting the L1 bridges on the chip, possibly with a pencil, preferably with conductive ink instead.

If it is unlocked, the BIOS will have support 133mhz with those multipliers.

I think in a review of one of the KT133A boards multipliers below 9x were not choices when bus speed was set to 133mhz.

So, if it's unlocked and the BIOS supports the lower multipliers. You'd just have to set the CPU to use that multiplier and bus speed.

Here's the page with the jumpers:

Or set the jumpers to "jumper free" and use the BIOS.

That's my exact combination, buddy. (Though the A7V133 isn't here yet 🙁) I'm going to slightly "underclock" to 1066.7 MHz which also gives my "undervolting" a safety margin. By that I mean running my retail 1.1GHz at only 1.525V which really cuts down on power/heat.

THanks you your advises. I do have this A7V133 with me now and I'm running at 100MHz with default setting. Could you please tell me a little bit detail how to unlock the CPU, or show me the web site to look for. I really appreciate.

Thanks

Just connect the L1 bridges with a pencil of some sort or conductive ink. Maybe you will have to use a magnifying glass.
