What's wrong with the lead chocolate lawsuit? Hershey and Nestle chocolate is disgusting anyway. Cadbury all the way.

"The winner, to be chosen by votes to the Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse Web site, http://www.cala.com, will be awarded the "Grand Caesar" -- in honor of Caesar Barber, the 272-pound (123-kg) New Yorker who in July sued four fast food chains for making him obese. "

Two questions come to mind after reading the part:

1. Will Ceasar sue for defamation?

2. Why the hell is a news story out of Los Angeles using kilograms in describing this guys weight? This is America, not Canada (or the rest of the world for that matter).

Went to Cala.com, and while it was hard deciding between 4 and 5, I ultimately went with 5, because of the future implications if this lawsuit is successful.

Same here, I went with the illegals sueing for dieing while trying to enter the country illegally over the fat people sueing fast food companies

Contestant #2: Size Matters

In San Francisco a ?short and fat law? says you can?t discriminate against anyone for a job because of their size. So Jennifer, a 240-pound exercise enthusiast wanted to be an instructor at Jazzercise. When the company said no, she sued saying she was qualified and it was discrimination. Her lawyer said she was qualified for the job. Jazzercise company decided to settle out-of-court. However, after the settlement Jennifer decided she didn?t want the job after all.
- San Francisco Chronicle, 2/26/02

this one shouldn't be on there because it's a half truth. jennifer wasn't an "exercise enthusiast, " she had been doing aerobics for 15 years, was a certified instructor, and taught 6 classes a week. all of her students and former teachers also said she was qualified, which she was. her lawsuit was as valid as a discrimination lawsuit involving a qualified hispanic man not being allowed to teach martial arts because he wasn't asian. the fact that she didn't teach classes after getting a settlement probably indicates the settlement was large enough so she wouldn't have to work much more.

i picked #5 :)
