make pidgin 2.0 look like gaim 2.0b?

I'm not a big fan of the new purple pidgin with it's green dots. When someone's idle, it's blue and black idle icon looks like a handicapped sign. anyone know how to get the old icons back? or use the icons form ACCOUNTS...you'll see yellow guy for aim, Y for yahoo, butterfly for msn, lightbulb for gmail, etc.

and i think the icon on the taskbar next to the clock should look like a purple pigeon..not a green dot and white square.
