Make ginger ale!

Made this last night at it rocks! Serve it ice cold with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it. Yummy!

Title: Homemade Ginger Ale
Categories: Beverages
Yield: 4 servings

2 T Fresh ginger root
2 Lemon rinds
6 T Honey, to taste
2 Tbsp vanilla flavoring
1 c Boiling water
1 qt Seltzer

Put the ginger and lemon rinds in a small bowl with the honey.

Pour in 1 cup boiling water (or just enough to cover). Let steep for
ten-fifteen minutes.

Strain and chill. When ready to serve, add the seltzer water.

Makes 4 servings (10 ounces each).

Another hint, if you are ever at a restaurant and they don't have gingerale tell them to mix 3/4 sprite with 1/4 coke. Tastes very similar

Because that would be cheaper, and if you live in the ghetto, you're not allowed to be frugal, otheriwse you might not wast your entie paycheck on designer clothes and you station in life might improve. :sun:

Because if you're in a restaurant with self service fountain drinks, it's the only way to get it.
