of course you can combine w/ the visoneer deal, but i think the visoneer is b&m deal only, i can't find that model on staples website.

Vamp, I would guess this deal is best bundled with a larger order with free shipping. This could act as a coupon for few more bucks off. Just my $.02.

actually I do believe that when you are talking about more than one computer mouse that it IS mouses.
 
I got the Visioneer scanner deal online yesterday, got the paperclips that I ordered with it delivered today.... It's not a BM only deal.
 
This deal is great, Thanks. Staples gives free shipping to my area on all orders apparently. They have gazillions of stores around here, thats probably why. They ship it themselves if they have local stock.
 
rmilton - i think it's because you live in Mass. I remember reading last week, like all Mass people get free shipping regardless of order amount.
 
I noticed that both of these rebates require it to be postmarked within 7 days of purchase. That's very unusual with Staples rebates. Don't hesitate with this one once you buy it!

Has anyone found these at this price at B&M? I think my local store had ne of them, but the shelf tag said $14.98 or such. I didn't bother having the check the price at the register. Staples really needs price checking scanners in the store.

Are the rebates good for both of them? ie. buy both, and get $20 back? It seems to me there maybe a problem getting both, as they both are sent to the same address with same dept # (possibly offer#). Just a warning as I've been burned by this before. Make sure the offers are different, or they'll only accept one of them.

Also the shipping's $7.95, so I'll have pass. Thanks for posting though, it's a great deal for people buying other things at Staples. 🙂

Yup, I was going to comment on that too. It is indeed mouses. Mice are the little rodents who eat cheese 🙂
 
actually it is much more common to use the term "mice" to describe multiple pointing devices.


but yes, linguistically it would be mouses, like: "we are silly gooses for discussing this".

If that happens, I'll simply call up staples and have them pick up the mice; both of them. Mice is plural for mouse btw..

I'm a little more afraid of the promotion deal because I did buy both and want to get both rebates. Does anyone have any more info regarding this?

Edit: I just got my order confirmation and it said that my mice will ship within 2 days.

Damn.. I just read the MIR more carefully and it is the same promotion, so I doubt that we'll get both rebates if we bought both mice.

Get this.. I ordered and then called not more than 10 minutes after I placed the order to cancel because I wasn't sure if getting both mice would invalidate one of the rebates. The Staples CSR put in a cancel for my order, but when I called back about an hour later, they said that the warehouse sent back the message saying that they order could not be stopped at this point.

So.. Faced with either refusing delivery or going ahead with the order, I called the Staples rebate center to ask about the two rebates in question. The lady that I spoke with said that since they are separate mice, that they will not invalidate either of my rebate submissions. I guess I should've gotten the CSR's name and extension, but she assured me that they would not be invalidated. If they do, I'll just call back and b!tch. If it comes to that, the Staples CSR's usually cave in and make some sort of restitution.
