Make cmd.exe promt on exit

I have no problem with the terminal in Linux, but I repeatedly close cmd.exe in Windows while I am still working. Is there a way to make it so that it prompts me to make sure I want to exit?
 
how are you closing it? Are you accidentally hitting the X button or accidentally typing 'exit'?

I don't know of a way to do what you ask, but maybe someone else has some ideas...
 
You could run "command", and then run "cmd" from within that... hitting X will kill the "cmd" and throw an error but at least keep the window open. That's the best I got.
