Make 5 bucks for buying CDr's!!!

I dont think anyone has posted this yet so I thought I would just in case....
Circuit City has a Spindle of 30 Mr.Data brand CDr's for 10 dollars with a 15 dollar mail in rebate. Don't know how long it's going on for but it started yesterday.

Yeah me a friend got a couple. It says there is 2 rebates but it prints out 3!!! 3 $5 rebates that is. So it looks like an easy $5 and free 30 cd-rs! Are these cd-r's any good I havnt tryed one yet.

well, it's better than no brand, no label, and worse of all, no protective top coating. I can't believe I actually brought a 50 pack of those no top coating junk only to see the actual data material getting rub off when I place 2 together inverted. Now that really stinks...

I am not sure exactly what this means since I have never heard of the manufacturer before but I'm sure someone here knows. I bought two of these and sent one set of rebates to my parents. These may not be the best CD-Rs, but hell they're paying you to take them, and you can always use these to make copies for those friends that never provide their own blanks..hehehe!

Another good deal, if you don't mind spending some money, are the 100pks of TDKs at CompUSA. They are $29.99 and there is a current $20 rebate on these from TDK (limit 3 per). If you get the 2 50 pks that are shrinkwrapped together these are made in Japan and made by Taiyo Yuden, the best made by the opinions of many. Not bad for about $13 after tax and a stamp!

according to CDR media world CMC Corp. makes some crappy CDRs. But since these are "free," why not get a couple?
