make $30 on Kaspersky Internet Security after 2 rebates @ Staples B&M

Kaspersky Internet Security (SKU 675639) = $69.99 @ Staples

$45 Staples Easy Rebate

$50 Kaspersky MIR

Purchase Kaspersky Internet Security along with a $9.99 pc tune-up, use the $15 off $75 coupon, and now instead of getting the $25 MIR, you now qualify for the $50 MIR.

So,

$69.99 + $9.99 = $79.98 - $15 off $75 coupon - $45 SER - $50 MIR = profit of $30.02

or

$69.99 - $45 SER - $25 MIR = FREE if you don't want to do the $9.99 pc tune-up

**** info regarding the $50 MIR ****

$50.00 MAIL-IN REBATE

Offer valid when purchased together with any new desktop or notebook PC or Staples Easy Mobile Tech service. Products must be purchased at the same time. Offer cannot be combined with the $25.00 offer above.

the $45 easy rebate is no problem, but the $50 from allrebates.com is a pain in arse to get money back

Nice find man. I actually just got that kaspersky deal from amazon recently. Id much rather have internet security though. Darn....I may have to buy this.

If you didnt wannt go through the hastle of purchasing that 9.99 thing to get the $50 mir, you could still get the $25 mir right and that would make it about FREE AR(not considering tax). Wouldnt make money but you could avoid the purchasing of the 9.99 pc tune-up hastle. That $50 rebate terms seem scary to me. 😛

How is this virus scanner compared to AVG Free? 😀 I have AVG Free now..and it seems great.

How much is it per year to use Kaspersky?

What's the SKU for the PC tune up?

Only one I see is $39.99 not $9.99.

Just what I was going to ask.. cheapest item on there is $29.99.

It's suppose to be $9.99 in store. There are signs all over the store I go to and the employees keep telling me to bring my pc in. They even told me that it was free last week.

Maybe the price went back up. ?

Better update the title to B&M YMMV to be on the safe side.

Ok, here's the deal, I'm a tech for the company, so I know.

The $40 pc tune up comes up as $10 in the register.
There's a $10 off coupon for pc tune up services on the back of one of the magazines (green magazine) for the tune up to make it free even. They'll probably even tell you about it if you ask.

Everything else, you guys already know.

Also, if you come into my store (or my district), I will not honor using two coupons, so you couldn't get the PC tune up for free, only $9.99 =P

Otherwise, goodluck 🙂

EDIT: The pc tuneup is $9.99. The Coupon is for $10 or more in Easy Tech services. Just tell them that someone told you the PC tuneup was free if there's any problems and they should go ahead and do it. The cashier may need manager's numbers to override the coupon.

Talked to a rep at Staples today. The PC Tune up is Free until the end of the month. Since it's Free, does it still qualify the $50 Kaspersky rebate?

Yes.

All rebate says is that Kaspersky needs to be purchased along with a Easy Tech service. If the service is free, that's even better.

Except that the $15 off $75 coupon needs another item added to bring the total over $75.

Was a nice clean package before, oh well, I guess I'll have to find $6 worth of stuff at Staples, shouldn't be too difficult.

I don't want another rebate to deal with. I'll just buy some pens or something to make the total $75 to qualify the Coupon.

Seems like a great ad on to make the $15 off $75 coupon work would be the Playo DVD blanks. You would make about $8.00 before taxes. Not sure how these newer Playo discs are, but I bought them before and they burned very well on my Benq1640.

1. Purchase Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 (SKU # KIS60BOXSPL) PLUS any Notebook PC or Desktop PC or any
Staples Easy Tech Service at Staples or staples.com between 3/1/07 and 12/31/07. Cannot be combined with
any other offer.

2. All products must be purchased on same receipt.
3. Include a photocopy of the UPC barcode from the software AND notebook or desktop packages.
4. Fill out this form completely. Incomplete forms will not be accepted. Keep copies of all materials placed
in the envelope, inquiries will not be accepted without copies of all materials sent.
5. Mail this entire form with a photocopy of the sales/web receipt and a photocopy of the UPC barcode from the
software package to the address above.
6. Request must be postmarked within 30 days of purchase date.

I hope "any other offer" only applies to Kaspersky offers, and not Staples coupons as well, otherwise the $15 off $75 will void the Kaspersky Rebate. And it was mentioned that Allrebates was a PITA, and I'd imagine they'll reject a rebate for any reason.
