I got a question about this myself. I want to do business, im not sure if i should do finance or marketing. I dont understand the concept of a minor degree. Is it like a way of saying that you couldnt make up your mind, so you just took a lil bit of another subject? also, how do you guys feel about accelerated programs at universites such as DEvry, in which the claim you can earn a BS degree in 2.5 years?thanks.

I am majoring in Information Science and Technology and minoring in Business Management. I currently own and run a successful web hosting company, am a Teaching Assistant at my college, and was hired by General Electric Corporation for the summer, future summers, and after I graduate if I'd like.

Med school is very hard to get into.

Heading to Vanderbilt. I wouldn't say it was difficult, just a lot of work. I never let it affect my "studying" for my "major" though. :)

Yes.. I would really like to major is something like aerospace engineering or chemical engineering, but the math involved would screw me over. I used to be one of the smartest kids at math in school until I started slacking off in high school, and then I didn't take it my senior year and now I only remember intermediate algebra.

If calc is giving you trouble, CS may not be the way to go...

Very true. Cal made me leave CS behind and besides, the market is very very dead.

I was under the impression the market is saturated right now because the bubble caused alot of people to go into cs but after it burst jobs have been scarce.
