Is it just me or does Craig's horrendous spelling bother you? I mean this guy tries to make compelling arguments with rudimentary spelling skills. Many say that the internet is not the place for grammar police and I can agree to a point. When you misspell very common words though, your intelligence has to be suspect. If Craig is a foreigner struggling with the English language then my apologies. If not, stop spending so much damn time on these forums, pick up a book, and learn how to spell!

Craig in general bothers me. He's an ultra partisan that tows the party line to any and all extremes. He does it to the point of making himself look foolish.

When this country falls on it's knees under the weight of the advancing liberal agenda, and an American Pinochet takes power, I feel confident that Craig and those like him will top the "re-education" list.

What does a bachelor degree have to do with "school systems" which sane people associate with k-12?

Here in Iowa, it's easy to tell which school systems are the worst - find the metro areas that are D controlled and you'll find the most dysfunctional school systems.

most cities are d controlled, whats your point?

What? Not capable of doing a simple search?

The Most (and Least) Educated States

So what about the states that fell to the bottom of both lists? Included below are the bottom ten from the Census Bureau and Morgan Quinto, respectively.

State (District of Columbia not included)
Perhaps you should do some more research.

Mississippi which ranks last has been nearly completely controlled by Democrats until the late 1980s. They have had only 2 Republican governors in the past 125+ years and both houses of state government are control by Democrats.

West Virginia, ranks 49, is completely controlled by Democrats.

Arkansas, 48, is also COMPLETELY run by Democrats.

Louisiana, 48, up until 2005 was completely run by Democrats.

It is pretty clear that the states with the worst educational achievement in this country are states that were completely controlled by Democrats until very recently. Odd how that works.

southern democrats from the 80's and before are hardly he same ideological group as those that exist now

Obviously it will take much more than merely fixing the U.S. economy, but it's unlikely to ever happen until we fix the nation's economy. So, what's the Republican's big plan to fix the economy? Merge the U.S. labor market and economy with the third world in the name of dogmatic free market principles?

I don't think either party has a clue or actually cares about fixing our economy. Getting reelected is at the top of their agenda. History teaches us that continuing to print money is only putting us in more jeopardy. Soon no country will be willing to accept our bonds. We need to fix Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and the prescription drug program for starters. No more new entitlement programs until then. Doubt you'll find many Repubs on board though.

liberals measure success by intentions not failed results. that's why they can run cities/states into the ditch and claim success.
