So one of the drugs has the potential to be effective against SARS-CoV-2 virus. The other has the potential to eliminate future moronic slappies that would feel superior in the Ivermectin debate without actually getting any facts.

I asked my doctor about this on my last visit about 2 weeks ago. He said he has prescribed ivermectin about half a dozen times in his career (approaching 40 years now) and it was always for particularly intractable cases of scabies. his last such Rx was about 2 years ago. It worked well for that purpose. Patients tolerated the treatment well.
He made it CLEAR that he has NOT and will NOT prescribe it for any forms of covid.
If you are picking up ivermectin from a feed store - it’s horse medicine.
The inventors of Ivermectin won a Nobel Prize for it. But they won the Nobel Prize for inventing an antiparasitic medication. Nobody disputes that Ivermectin is okay for treating worm infestations. They didn’t get the Nobel Prize for inventing an antiviral medication, because they didn’t do that.

My honest point is that people are not being honest about the "horse dewormer" and the frequency of overdoses. I never stated that it was a miracle cure, but pointed out that several misinformation stories have emerged pointed in the opposition direction, and the vilification of anyone that suggests treatments outside of vaccines. My point is the existence of actual scientific evidence that Ivermectin potentially could provide useful as part of a Covid-19 treatment regimen. Is that not a truthful and fair statement?
