In doing so you successfully passed off not one but two lies. First, the ability to don a mask and black attire is not automatically lost when one becomes a student. Being unidentifiable means they are not identifiable, period, NOT that they are not students. Were Berkeley to engage their campus police to actually arrest these "few" violent protesters, then we'd know. Shouldn't be difficult with all those "heavily armed police" in a crowd of peaceful protesters, eh? Second, you successfully passed off the idea that speech you don't like is grounds for violence. Congratulations, you've helped fundamentally transformer America!I had to, very calmly, explain this yesterday at great length to a couple people at work who were going all "intolerant left" and "this is why Trump won, libruls" on this story. They actually got it eventually and agreed that the actual rioters were not students and incitement by the speaker was intentional. It's like peeling a huge onion to get past the talking points supplied by fringier media.
Unless of course they simply grew tired of having an idiot mouth left wing nonsense at them and were simply patting your head so you'd run along.
