This article is useless. It does not tell you anything. It's just another way of telling you to keep your apps updated and to use anti-virus.

I run norton and firefox with no script . . . I haven't logged on to my BOA checking account for awhile and no i'm a bit weary of doing so. Am I just being paranoid?

So, having read a little more about this ah heck, it seems like I expected: it's a nasty little ah heck, with more sophistication in how they take advantage once they have the trojan running on a particular machine, but the trick is still to get it on the machine. If you run FF with noscript, you will not get the trojan on your machine no matter what "questionable" sites you might visit. Running untested warez on the other hand is a different story.....

This one is not that wide-spread. There are a bunch of info-stealers out there. Just make sure you keep your system's protection maintained.

The overwhelming majority of info-stealers come from p2p downloads and from phish emails, and the rest are from shady websites.
