ok this might sound kinda stupid, but the other day i removed the heatsink and took out the processor so i could do the pencil trick and unlock it, but as i was putting the heatsink back on, i was having problems putting the clip back in. at one point i looked at the other side and noticed that the little plastic thing that stick a bit so you can hook the clip onto broke off! arghhhh... is there any way to fix this without having to RMA the board or anything? and how exactly DO you put on those damn clips without having that much trouble.

um.. well, one method is just let the heatsink sit on top of the CPU with thermal paste between them, which should work fine. Another way, is to return the board. Because there's NO way to clue it back or anything, then install the heatsink with clip on the mount with a fixed (clue) clip. Because the force is so great from the clip on the heatsink, the clip on the mount will break again as soon as you put the heatsink back on.

There is one heatsink that will clip on to all 3 plastic things, but I don't remember which one it was. Can anybody help him here?

Most of the Coolermaster AMD Cpu coolers also have a clip that uses all 3 plastic things!
