more CPU e-penis growth.. like we needed that anymore, considering we have the 360 and the PS3 already waving theirs around😀😀

I don't think you'll even be able to see Nintendo's CPU e-penis waving around amongst the army of Cell processors and Xenon chips.

20% more power efficient? does that mean 20% better performance per watt or 20% lower power draw? it'll be tough to get under the gamecube's 24 watts peak. i guess ati has the know-how from all it's mobile experience (iirc x1600 mobiles are ~15 watts peak draw).

The fact that Wii is going to ship within a month isn't news. That info was already leaked. It better not be this blaony.

When was that leaked?

I think leak = unsubstantiated rumor.

this information was definitely blown out of proportion

A. all hints suggested the power of the Wii isn't going to be anything exceptional
B. the size of the system looks to be smaller and more thermally challenging than the GC

A+B = we could have drawn such a conclusion (that the CPU draws less power, just so happens to be 20% less) on our own.

The Wii will not include rumble support. :*(

THANK YOU!!!! i can't stand that rumble controller garbage. It adds nothing to gameplay, except maybe if you're a girl and you're playing something else.

I really hope nintendo takes yet another cue from apple, and releases the thing the same day they make the annoucement. I'll go nuts frantically pushing old ladies aside to get one.

there were a few cool things they could do with rumble - provide a sort of "spider sense" in games...

But I agree, it is mostly novelty unless it can somehow provide force feedback, which it doesn't.
