Anyone heard of the game yet? So far from what I've read it's going to be the most in-depth game ever created. Majestic is going to try and blur the lines between the adventure and reality. Here's a quote from their website:

<< Majestic is an episodic online entertainment experience set against the backdrop of a grand and sinister conspiracy -- an unfolding mystery adventure that uses the Internet as a canvas for its story, weaving the player through both real and fictional experiences in real-time. >>

From what I've read, you can enter in your home, work, fax or cell phone number and they'll call you (even in the middle of the night :Q) with clues and tips as to what's going on. You may have to make long distance phone calls in order to get more clues. You'll even get email and Instant Messages from the characters in the game and you can ask them questions.

So far the game is set for a Spring 2001 release and is going to cost $10/month to play. Looks like it could be one helluva game so far!

I read about it in Newsweek, I think. You can enter in a bunch of information and then they personalize things, LIke they call you and say "Get off the case or your pretty wife Laura will get it" etc. Freaky!

and actually, they've set up snail mail dump boxes, and tons of false business fronts, fake phone circuits, that actually trace to places, but that are front ends. might get taken the wrong way.
