you think? i always thought people liked the fourms opening in a new window....

would you want the template still showing? or just the FORUM in the window?
 
Congrats and best of luck to you. Someday, I'll have a web presence...I could do it now...I know a little about FrontPage. But what do you put on your personal webpage when you still want to remain anonymous, you know? 😕

Serioulsy ... and im no web pro (at all!)
 
I tend to dislike sites with a dark background and light text, finding a dark-on-light scheme more easily readable. That's just a personal preference, however, because I prefer a more professional look, while many nerds prefer the more common "hacker homepage" color schemes for their personal sites. 🙂

Also, the graphics are a bit heavy for dialup users, but nobody gives a fvck about us few remaining dinos who are just too stingy to purchase a faster connection.

Looks boring

You need a lighter backroud, darker smaller text, a different horizontal header. It looks to much like a kidy site.

but seriously, the top bar is too short. your table extends past it, making it stick out.
 
yeah where is the content about mainframes? I'm looking for information about CICS and OS/390 and DASD and LPARs. Where is it? Kinda pointless naming a site MainFramed if you don't talk about them...

Sorry, mainframed is the name of the site.......no talkie about mainframes....though mainframed would be a cool name...i still think it is. you dont well sorry 🙂 (computer related....just a very cool name 😀 )
 
You could at least have a "You came here looking for information on mainframes? Wtf were you thinking?" link that takes you to a random site on mainframes.
 
in relation to the title, u could say it doesnt mean computer mainframes but more like its the main site, and it is framed (used frames, if it does that is) kinda like a play onh words etc... its kinda weak but its an easy way to answer people that pester about name questions.

i dont mean pester in a bad way
