Mailed Tax Check on April 15th to MA...

No idea what Tas is but it took my utilities company a month to take money out of my checking account after bringing it to a supermarket to pay.

In that case, it's the government. 'Nuff said.
 
Owed $101 to feds and $8 to IL this year. Feds cashed within couple of days, took IL two weeks to cash it. Might be state thing.
 
It can mean 1 of 3 things:

1. They don't want your money.
2. Prepare to go to FPMITA prison.
3. The check hasn't been deposited or cleared yet.
 
I sent my check to PA long before April 15th and it still has not been cashed, so don't worry. They are always slow to cash.
